The 3rd single released as part of Amnesty International's
Instant Karma project to save Darfur is Green Day's version of
John Lennon's "Working Class Hero." Their version applies a raw,
instantly recognizable Green Day sound to the classic song.

"Working Class Hero" will be included on the album Instant Karma:
The Campaign to Save Darfur due in stores June 12, 2007.
Yoko Ono has donated the rights to the use of John Lennon's songs
for the project in tribute to Lennon's lifetime pursuit of world peace.
Previous singles released as part of the project include R.E.M.'s version
of "#9 Dream" and Los Lonely Boys' take on "Whatever Gets You Through
the Night," John Lennon's only #1 pop hit.
